This workshop will be taught taking reference from some popular Ghost Stories (Singapore True Ghost Stories and Stephen King's scary novels); workshop participants will be taught to identify elements in a narrative structure, such as plot, characters, setting, theme and point of view (to build up suspense and conflict). We are a Victoria Carlton Literacy Centre and we aim to transform how kids read, write and comprehend effectively with our Phonics and STAR programme. Her books has been distributed to over 700 children and is used as a teaching aid in local primary schools. She was also invited to be a part of Talking Books on 93.8FM’s with Michelle Martin. With a teaching career of over a decade in St. Joseph's Institution, Swiss Cottage Secondary School, and Riverside Secondary, Teacher Shuohan is a sought-after teacher for his ability to teach the English language in a clear, easy-to-understand manner, paired with fun and engaging lesson plans. His students have consistently shown remarkable improvement in English and Literature and he is well-known in Singapore for coaching ESL students who come to Singapore with a weak grasp of English, turning them to become confident English speakers and writers.
