For the “Mythical Creatures” bus tour, participants will be brought on a 3 hour journey through two museums where they will learn about the practices and beliefs behind the creatures and protective guardians in Southeast Asian myths and legends, and the significance of these mythical beings within their respective cultures and communities.Each bus tour will include guided tours and hands-on activities conducted during the bus ride as well as onsite at participating museums. Tour participants will receive a special 25th anniversary gift bag from the Museum Roundtable, and might even have the chance to win a Museum Label prize during the tour!All tours are conducted in English. Tickets are priced at $20 per pax. Note: Any child participant of/under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.Venues: More details on the gathering point will be sent to participants upon registration.Date: 4, 5, 18 and 19 September 2021Time: 10.00am – 1.00pmDate: 11, 12, 25 and 26 September 2021Time: 2.30pm – 5.30pm         Terms and Conditions: 1.     The ‘Museum Roundtable 25th Anniversary Celebrations - Mystery Museum Tours’ programme is organised by the National Heritage Board (“NHB”).2.     By booking a tour, you confirm that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”). If you make the booking for yourself and on behalf of other participants in your party, you confirm that you have the authority to do so and accept these T&Cs on their behalf.3.     There is a maximum of 10 participants per tour, and participants will be registered on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once all the tour slots are filled, no walk-ins will be accepted. If you have successfully registered, you will receive a confirmation email with the tour details.4.     A minimum of 5 participants is required for each tour. Should the minimum number not be reached and NHB choose to cancel the tour, participants will be notified via email at least 24 hours before the tour and offered a refund or option to join another tour slot (subject to availability).5.     All registered slots are non-transferrable. Personal particulars will be checked at the start of the tour.6.     All participants are expected to practice social responsibility and should not attend the tour if they are feeling unwell. If you/any participant in your party is feeling unwell, please notify NHB as soon as possible before the tour, and a refund will be offered.7.     There will be no refund in the event of a no-show. Absent registrants will be disqualified from participating in other tours in the programme. 8.     NHB reserves the right to cancel the tour if it reasonably considers necessary for public health and safety reasons and/or as may be required under prevailing governmental restrictions. In the event of such cancellation, participants will be notified via email as soon as practicable and offered a refund. 9.     All tours are subject to actual-day weather conditions. In the event of inclement weather (e.g. haze, thunderstorms, floods, etc.) or other unforeseen circumstances affecting the tour, NHB reserves the right to delay/postpone/cancel the tour or any part of the tour at any time, in the interests of safety of the participants. NHB shall not be held liable for any form of compensation whatsoever due to such delay/postponement/cancellation, unless the tour is fully cancelled in which case NHB shall offer a refund.10.   Please note that all refunds may be subject to deductions for any transaction fees/cancellation charges as may be charged by Peatix and/or the third party payment channel you have used for payment, such as your credit card company. 11.   Each participant agrees:-(a)  to comply with the instructions of NHB and the guide/facilitator(s) conducting the tour;(b)  to comply with all prevailing regulations of the relevant authorities and safe distancing/management measures as stated in the confirmation email or otherwise advised by NHB and the guide/facilitator(s) conducting the tour; (c)   to be fully responsible for the care of those under the participant’s charge (in the case of children below 12, who must be accompanied by a parent/guardian);(d)  to be fully responsible for any injury, loss or damage due to careless or other actions on the participant’s part or that of children under the participant’s charge, whether sustained or caused by such participant/child, and the participant waives any claims against NHB and shall fully indemnify NHB from any third party claims relating to the same; and(e)  that, without prejudice to the foregoing and to the fullest extent permissible under law, NHB will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss (including loss of personal property), damage, injury or loss of life or costs and expenses whatsoever arising from or in connection with the participant’s participation in the tour.12.   All participants acknowledge that, while participating in the tour, photographs or videos may be taken by the other participants and/or NHB or its representatives, which may feature the participants. All participants consent to such photographs or videos being made and permit NHB to use the photographs or videos as made by NHB, for any purposes whatsoever (including marketing, promotions, and the creation of promotional materials, etc) in any medium whatsoever, without any further obligation or compensation payable to any participant. 13.   NHB may collect, use and disclose your/any participant’s personal data (as provided in the registration form for the tour) for the purposes of administering the abovementioned guided tour and in relation to tour participation in the same. If necessary, NHB may share this data with  other Government agencies (or non-Government entities which have been authorised to carry out specific NHB services) in order to serve tour participants in the most efficient and effective way,  unless such sharing is prohibited by legislation.
