【Sushi Rolls】

Sushi roll is a Japanese rice dish consisting of cooked vinegared rice combined with other ingredients (fillings such as raw fish) on dried seaweed sheets, rolled up by bamboo sushi mat called makisu. You can use sesame seeds instead of seaweed sheets. Raw fish, cooked egg and cucumber are some examples for fillings.

Somen noodles in soy sauce based hot dashi soup with other ingredients are called Nyumen.

* Somen noodle is one of the thin white noodles you find in Japan or other parts of eastern Asia. Somen noodles are made of wheat flour.
