This session will highlight the key skills and knowledge to be equipped for an ever evolving technology driven future.About Dr. Shanton Chang:He is an associate professor in the Department of Computing and Information systems at the University of Melbourne. Dr Chang is also the recipient of numerous teaching awards at the university and an Australian National Citation for Excellence in Teaching and Learning in 2011. His research interests include young people’s online behaviour and its impact on education, health informatics and information systems security.3pm – 4pm, Industry Panel by FutureLab. This session will be featuring 3 experienced panel members across industries. 1. Lisa Chan, General Manager, Operational Excellence Business Function, PETRONAS ICTIn PETRONAS ICT, Lisa oversees a portfolio that includes applications intended for oil & gas practitioners covering disciplines such as Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), asset management & integrity, plant data historians and visualisation tools. She also looks into productivity tools for the office and plant. Lisa is formerly a management consultant with Accenture with 10 years of experience in operational excellence and talent & organizational management. 2. Aditya Tuli, Executive Director, Technology & Innovations at MaGICAditya is a systems thinker with deep experience in building software development teams and improving engineering functions. The past 17 years saw him working as part of business innovation teams, with efforts that led to the development of the first electronic gateway for message exchange in the London Insurance Market, and building the big data analytics product portfolio for a Global Systems Integrator. Currently at MaGIC, he is going all-out for the government as a platform, starting with building a digital platform for small business and startup related services.3. Elton Lee, Analytics Manager at Think Big DigitalElton Lee is a Data Science practitioner with over 3 years of experience as an analytics consultant, primarily focusing in the telecommunication industry. He helped his clients realise value from the wealth of data they have on their subscribers.
