On Friday, August 25th, PechaKucha Night Cleveland heads to the lakefront with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for a night of inspiration and creativity under the stars!!! Weather permitting we be in the beautiful Rock and Roll Hall of Fame entrance plaza and in the event of inclement weather we will be inside the Museum!Doors will open at 7:000pm and presentations will begin at 8:45pm. We expect a large turnout for Volume 31!!! To help us plan accordingly, please register with a ticket before August 18th. Early registrants will be eligible to win one of the 50 limited edition screenprinted posters! While we will be providing some seating, we encourage everyone to consider coming early and bringing a lawn chair!As always, tickets to PKN are free, but you can make a donation if you wish via the Donation Tickets provided. $1.00 of each donation will go to PKN Global to help support the PechaKucha Night globally and the rest will help keep PKN Cleveland free and inspiring!Japanese for “the sound of conversation,” this event features a succession of 10-12 speakers, each sharing new ideas about topics ranging from visual art, architecture, and technology to food, film, music, photography and furniture design through a vibrant 400 second long presentation (20 slides X 20 seconds each). The rapid-fire style keeps audiences engaged while breaking down barriers between different creative communities. The goal is to expose and attract new talent and ideas and incite meaningful collaborations among presenters and audience members.What do the events look and feel like?
