Come & join us for one of our most popular Walking Tours, on the delightful Pulau Ubin, arguably Singapore's last real kampong.And in the "Wild West" of Ubin, we will see the extraordinary German Girl's Shrine plus arguably the most eclectic temple in Singapore with its Thai & Tibetan sections, Hindu deities & more! Ubin itself is a treat - with its swaying coconut palms, shady trails in overgrown rubber plantations, rustic roads, secluded beaches and flourishing mangroves it feels like you've stepped back into the Singapore of the1960's; in fact the slow lane starts as soon as you join the queue for the bumboat at Changi!Our very experienced and knowledgeable guide (an NParks guide as well as STB guide) will point out areas of particular interest, especially wildlife. We will also look at the historical significance of the area.After a 3.5 hour walk, including refreshments (included in the price) on the island we will head back by ferry to the "mainland".Please note you have a choice of meeting us at Dempsey at 8am to drive to Changi, or to meet us there at 8:30am; tickets are priced for these 2 options accordingly.
