Who says mending has to be a chore? Make mending visible and beautiful by learning different techniques to repair holes, cover over stains, how to sew a patch securely, and spruce up worn out parts of your garments. Participants are encouraged to bring a garment that needs mending or is missing parts (i.e. straps, buttons, etc). About the workshop In this workshop, we will teach you over 5 techniques to mend your clothing which you can do in vibrant colours and thread types. Each participant will take-away with them practical skills and inspiration to continue mending their favourite garments. We will teach you how to use a domestic sewing machine.
