Discover Korea and cook one of its national dishes, gimbap, in this exclusive workshop for families and children.Participants will learn how to make, eat, and appreciate the delicious gimbap dish better. This workshop series is suitable for children age 6 and above. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, respectively. Strictly no exceptions will be made.Registered participants should arrive 10 minutes before the start of the session in the lobby. Limited spaces are available.Frequently Asked QuestionsDo i need any experience to join this workshop? Is this workshop suitable for my child?No experience necessary! This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners. Just bring a hungry stomach. I have several children. Can my older child accompany their younger sibling in the workshop?For the safety of the participants, every child must be accompanied by an adult parent or guardian. ACM reserves the right to reject participants not within the age range, and will refund the deposit within 24 hours.Why is there a refundable deposit?As workshop spaces are highly limited, the deposit will be held as a form of commitment from the registrant. The deposit will be refunded 24 hours after this workshop, through Peatix, in the same manner as your payment (e.g. credit card or Paypal).Do I need to bring anything?All equipment and ingredients will be provided. Just bring yourself, your child, and an appetite!Who is the instructor for this workshop?The workshop is conducted by Ms Katie Oh, a Singapore-based, Korean native. She is an adjunct lecturer for Korean language at Singapore Polytechnic. She also teaches at Singapore Korean International School.What can I do before/ after the workshops?This series is part of our June holiday school programme, Fun-tastic Friday. We also have lunchtime concerts for children, workshops, and storytelling tours happening till 5pm, every Friday in June. And the best part?
