July Special Event @ Hibiya Library In July, we will held a 3-hour special event at the beautiful Hibiya Library. We will do three topic discussions. Two of the topics will be selected from mainstream English journals or newspapers. And one about Japanese culture. We believe reading good articles and discussing with others will enrich your insights. We believe standing before a crowd of people and giving a speech will expand your potential. So in our event, we will engage every participants by dividing them into small discussion groups. And we will encourage people to stand at the stage to lead a topic by offering free tickets. Here is what we do on the event: ★Agenda: Reception (14:00-14:10)Self-introduction (14:10-14:30) Topic Discussion (14:30-15:10) ・Topic 1 (40 min) Feature Discussion (15:10-15:50) ・Japanese culture (40min) Break (10min) Topic Discussion (16:00-16:40) ・Topic 2 (40 min) + For each topic, there will be a topic leader who will firstly give an introduction on the topic and then lead the discussion.+ Every participant can be a topic leader. Please post your topic on our event page and contact the organizer in advance.+ If we have more than 10 participants, we will divide them into two groups to discuss on the topic. And then each group select one person to give a summary of their discussion. Closing (16:40-17:00) Exchange contact. Tidy up the room and leave. ★Fees and Charges Generals: JPY 1,000 Students: JPY 500 Tourists (from oversees or domestic): FREE Topic leaders: FREE *In order to encourage more participants to try to lead a topic, we offer FREE tickets to topic leaders. Every participant can become a topic leader. ★Others: For each participant, we offer: A bottle of water Hand out for each topic If less than 5 participants, we may change the venue to the cafe on floor B1 in the same building.
