Do you know about the history and sound of Gagaku?   Gagaku has over 1,300 years of history and was registered on the UNESCO Representative List of “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.”   The Gagaku performing arts were originally introduced to Japan from China and the Korean Peninsula in ancient times, however have all but disappeared from those areas due to being an oral tradition and through wars. First, you will get used to the sound of Gagaku by reading from a musical score.
