Learn about the colours and symbols that reflected desires for a healthy and prosperous life. Enjoy the humour and delight in this fascinating art form. In this workshop, the participants will have a hands-on experience with making a fan decorated with traditional minhwa patterns. This workshop series is suitable for children 5 to 12 years old. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, respectively. Strictly no exceptions. Participants should arrive 15 minutes before the start of the session. Limited spaces are available. Frequently Asked Questions Do I need any experience to join this workshop? Is this workshop suitable for my child? No experience necessary! This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners. Just bring an interest in the Korean culture. ACM reserves the right to reject participants not within the age range (5 to 12 years old), and will refund the deposit within 24 hours. What does the fee includes? Each registration is for 1 child and 1 adult or guardian. The deposit reserves space for two participants on 18 June, along with all materials for the workshop. Why is there a refundable deposit of $15? As workshop places are limited, the deposit will be held as a form of commitment from the registrant. The deposit will be refunded 24 hours after the workshop on 17 June, through Peatix, in the same manner as your payment (e.g. credit card or Paypal). Do I need to bring anything? All materials will be provided, just bring along interest and curiosity! Who is the instructor for this workshop? The workshop is conducted by Singapore Association of Minhwa Art. What can I do before/ after the workshops? This programme is part of the Seoul Awesome Weekend Festival. We have various international performances, craft activities, and film screenings in store for different age groups. And the best part?
