Some of these colourful characters include Neo Tiew - the founder of Lim Chu Kang, Tan Keong Saik – an advocate for the equality of women and Tay Koh Yat – bus-owner-turned-war-hero who resisted the Japanese during World War II.Apart from learning about history and heritage of our country, the guided tour will also serve as a healthy weekend workout walking along the less trodden paths of Singapore.(The tour will last from 9 am to 12 noon and the meeting place is Hill 2. Cross the bridge, walk towards Sime Road, follow the road until you see Lorong Halwa.By car:Turn in from Lornie Road, to Sime Road.
