Its finale was held at The Shaw Symphony Stage at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, “bringing together a strong ensemble of 520 dynamic youths in the closing, presenting excellent synergetic dance items, this festival is a call to foster exchanges, encourage new grounds and provide a spectrum of dances/movements, health and fitness disciplines.” as witnessed by Ms Penny Low, Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC.In 2013, the 3rd SDF coincided with the opening of Aliwal Arts Centre (AAC), witnessed by Mr Lawrence Wong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth.
