20T Language Night Special: Australia

Interested in meeting new Japanese friends over Australian cuisine?
Come and join us on May 20!

Hello, I’m Eiko. I run a rental kitchen called 20T (nijyuttsubo http://20t.info/ ) near Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and organize an evening food event called “Language Night Special” around the 20th of every month. I pick one country or city at random and cook that country’s cuisine. We have one native speaker from that country who lives in Hiroshima to learn about the country, culture, language, etc. over dinner. I have about from several to 10 Japanese natives who regularly attend the event.

This month guest speaker, Jack Crispy, writer from Australia, will share her experiences, knowledges, and trivia about cultures of various fields.

The scale of my event is not large, but I promise it'll be cozy, friendly and a relaxed atmosphere – perfect to make new Japanese friends.
