BCI South of England forum meeting

The BCI South of England forum are pleased to announce that their latest event will take place on Thursday 29th of June 2017 at the South of England Showground, Selsfield Road, Ardingly, West Sussex RH17 6TL.

The session will run from 9.30am until around 4pm and will include lunch and refreshments.

The two themes of the event are terrorism and the role of the insurance loss adjuster.

In the morning we will hear from Project Griffin which is the national counter terrorism awareness initiative for business produced by NaCTSO to protect our cities and communities from the threat of terrorism. It's aim is to;
  • Help understand the threat from terrorism to the UK
  • Guide individuals on what to do if they find themselves involved in a terrorist incident or event that leads up to a planned attack
  • Enable people to recognise and report suspicious activity
After lunch we will hear from Martin Funnell, Assistant Head of Resilience and Emergencies at West Sussex County Council who will talk about the role of local resilience forums.

Malcolm Hyde, Executive Director of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters who will speak about What do loss adjusters do and how can they help with business recovery?

These events are a great way to meet fellow professionals and hear about the latest developments in the profession.
