During this meet-and-greet session, you can browse through the Haque Centre of Acting & Creativity (HCAC) library – we have a library of plays and monologues books perfect to help you embark on your journey as an SMS participant. We will have some 2016 SMS participants around to share their experiences too.At the Hangout, you can expect to:Find out more about the competitionLearn more about your casting typeGet advice on suitable monologues for you to performReceive one-on-one consultations with directors on your final monologue selection and even performance advice.Get fed with some drinks and snacks.================What if you are over 35?If you're over 35 and would love to participate in our FIRST-EVER ONLINE COMPETITION (bit.ly/SMSover35), we'll have a little videography corner for you come down and record your monologue. This is due 1 JUNE 2017!The winner of the over-35 online SMS slam will gain automatic entry into the Grand Slam for SMS on 24 SEP 2017, an event t-shirt, one complimentary ticket to the Grand Slam and a monologue masterclass.Free studio space and recording facilities at Haque Centre of Acting & Creativity (HCAC) will be available on:- FRI 12 MAY, 3pm to 9pm- SAT 20 MAY, 3pm to 9pmPS: There's going to be free food for this hang-out and on 12 and 20 May!Bring a friend or two along!
