Get ready to challenge your core in this Pilates for Charity class brought to you by PushPullGive.About the event:You will be doing various prone and supine exercises that will help develop your core strength and stability. Some examples include plank and boat variations. Remember, the core is not just about your abdominal muscles, it's also about your back, pelvic floor and hips.By developing proper technique with the pilates method, you can re-train your body to move in a safer and more efficient way - critical for injury recovery and rehabilitation, sports performance, good posture and overall well-being.We want to raise awareness for poverty in Singapore and hence 10$ of the ticket sale will go to ONE (SINGAPORE). The rest of the fees are covering our operational expenses.About the initiative:Did you know that 1 in 10 Singaporeans are unable to meet basic needs, in the form of food, clothing, shelter and other essential expenditures?The nonprofit organization ONE (SINGAPORE), dedicated to raising awareness and taking concrete actions to Make Poverty History, is launching the $10 Campaign to address this issue. The campaign will support the creation of an Emergency Fund to support our neighbours-in-need; this fund will assist low-income families by paying for essentials like diapers, school fees, utility bills, doctor visits and transportation. Second, the $10 Campaign will fund research and advocacy efforts to create long-term solutions to eradicate poverty and ensure that no one in Singapore is left behind and that everyone in our nation can live with dignity.Come and enjoy this special PILATES event for a good cause!Please bring your own yoga mat.The proceeds will go to ONE (SINGAPORE).The yoga session will take place at the Plant House, which is near the Botany Centre Entrance at Cluny Road.
