Defining Hospitality: Spend the Night with The Warehouse Hotel, Adler Hostel & Andaz Singapore

Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne presents the first of the "Defining Hospitality" Series: Spend the night with The Warehouse Hotel, Adler Hostel & Andaz Singapore, in collaboration with The Great Room Offices.

"Defining Hospitality” opens with a panel discussion around the topic of unlocking the hotel business. In recent years, Singapore has been a playground for the launch of new hospitality brands and our speakers represent the best of them. They will dive into a discussion exploring the challenges they have faced and the moments that have defined their journey in hospitality thus far.

Our discussion will be focused around:
- How to design a new hotel concept
- How to stand out in comparison to traditional hotel brands
- How to cultivate a guest experience
- How to define the future of the hospitality experience

**Ticket prices include light bites and wine

About the speakers:

Tania Chan is the Director of Marketing & Communications at The Lo & Behold Group, a hospitality company that creates, owns and operates a series of timeless, thoughtful concepts, each with a unique story and a distinct perspective on the cultural-culinary landscape of the time. While each has a language of its own, the properties are united by a carefully considered sense of place, purpose, pioneering design and above all, a commitment to the most awesome experiences for all who walk through our doors - employees, partners and customers alike.

Adler Poh is the Managing Director of his own establishment, Adler Luxury Hostel. Based in a conservative Art Deco shophouse in Chinatown, the hostel was established on 12 December 2012 after one a half years of construction and refurbishment. A fusion of antique furniture and local artwork, the "Adler" brand, as Poh calls it, is one that truly celebrates our country and is a local brand that all Singaporeans can be proud of.

Olivier Lenoir is the General Manager of Andaz Singapore, an inspiring lifestyle hotel concept by Hyatt offering 342 premium guestrooms, 4 event venues and eclectic food and beverage concepts. An experienced hotelier and Hyatt veteran, Olivier began his career with Hyatt Hotels Corporation 17 years ago. Prior to joining Andaz Singapore, he most recently served as the hotel manager at Grand Hyatt Singapore, having begun his career with postings at Grand Hyatt Jakarta, Grand Hyatt Shenzhen and Grand Hyatt Taipei. A Swiss native, Olivier has a diploma in hospitality from the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne. In addition to speaking French, English, and Spanish, he also has a knack for picking up local accents and languages, loving to pepper sentences with “tio bo” (which means “is that correct?” in Hokkien) and “kesian” (which means “poor thing” in Malay) to the amusement of his team members. He loves to travel around the world with his loving wife and two beautiful children, and to experience every destination as a local.
