"முதலைகள் இப்போது இந்தப் பக்கம் கடப்பதில்லை"பின்நவீனக் கவிதைகள் பயிலரங்குமுதலைகளைப் புரிந்துகொள்வது கடினம். ஆனால் இப்போதும் அவை உங்கள் வரவேற்பறைகளில் நகர்ந்து கொண்டே இருக்கின்றன. பின் நவீனத்துவ கவிதைகளின் தோற்றமும் வளர்ச்சியும் கடந்த நூறு வருடங்களில் ஏற்பட்ட மாபெரும் மனித உடைசல்களில் இருந்து தோன்றியவை. இப்போதும் கூட பல பேர் பின்நவீனக் கவிதைகளைப் புரியவே புரியாதவை என்று ஒதுக்கித் தள்ளிவிடுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் அவை சொல்லவரும் விஷயங்கள் மகத்தானவை. மனிதர்களின் இன்றைய அவலங்களுக்கு நெருக்கமானவை. சொல்லும் பொருளும் சொல்லும் விதமும் எள்ளளவும் பிசகாத இலக்கியம்தான் பின்நவீனத்துவ கவிதைகள். ஆங்கிலம் தமிழ் இரு மொழிகளிலும் நடத்தப்படும் இந்த மூன்று மணி நேரப் பயிலரங்கில் தமிழ்ப் பின் நவீனத்துவக் கவிதைகளின் தோற்றம் மற்றும் வளர்ச்சி பற்றியும், அவற்றைப் புரிந்துகொள்வது எப்படி என்பது பற்றியும் ஒரு பின்நவீனத்துவ கவிதையை எப்படி எழுதுவது என்பதையும் ஆராயப் போகிறோம். எழுதுவதற்குக் மடிக்கணினியையோ தாளையும் பேனாவையோ கொண்டு வந்து விடுங்கள். அது நல்லது."Crocodiles No Longer Pass Here" A Workshop on Post Modern PoetryIt is difficult to understand crocodiles. Yet they lurk even now in your living rooms. Post- modern poems were born out of the great episodes of human brokenness in the last one hundred years. Even today many people reject post-modern poems as writing that can never be understood. But post-modern poems talk of significant issues. They are very close to the distresses of modern life. In this 3 hour bilingual workshop we will discuss the beginnings and subsequent development of Tamil post-modern poetry, how to read a post-modern poem and most important how to write one. Bring along a laptop or pen and paper on which to write your poem. That will help.பயிலரங்கு நடத்துபவரைப் பற்றி சில வார்த்தைகள்:சித்துராஜ் பொன்ராஜ் பள்ளி நாட்களிலிருந்து இருந்து கவிதை எழுதி வருகிறார். சிறுகதை ஆக்கத்திலும் ஆற்றலுள்ளவர். இவரின் சிறுகதை, கவிதைத் தொகுப்புகளான "மாறிலிகள்" "காற்றாய் கடந்தாய்" 2015 டிசம்பரில் வெளிவந்தன. இவற்றில் "மாறிலிகள்" தமிழ்ப் புனைவு பிரிவில் 2016 சிங்கப்பூர் இலக்கியப் பரிசையும் "காற்றாய் கடந்தாய்" பாராட்டுப் பரிசையும் வென்றன. இவரது "மாறிலிகள்" தொகுப்பு 2017க்கான கரிகாற் சோழன் விருதையும் பெற்றுள்ளது.இவரது தமிழ் குறுநாவலான "பெர்னுய்லியின் பேய்கள்" அதைத் தொடர்ந்து மர்மக் கதையான "கௌண்டில்யன் சதுரம்" 2016 செப்டெம்பர் மாதம் வெளிந்தன.
சித்துராஜ் பொன்ராஜ் மொழிபெயர்ப்பிலும் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளார். தமிழ், ஸ்பானிஷ், பிரெஞ்சு போன்ற மொழிகளிலிருந்து கவிதைகள்,சிறுகதைகளை ஆங்கிலத்தில் மொழிபெயர்த்துள்ளார். இவரது "தமிழில் பெண்களின் கவிதைகளில் உடல்மொழி" என்ற ஆங்கில நூலும், "முதலைகள் இப்போது இந்தப் பக்கம் கடப்பதில்லை" என்ற ஸ்பானிய கவிதைத் தொகுப்பும் ஏப்ரல் 2017ல் வெளிவருகின்றன.அறிவியல் புனை கதைகளை ஆர்வமாகப் படிக்கும் இவர் தற்போது தமிழில் "காகதீயனம்" என்ற முழு நீள அறிவியல் புனைவு நாவலை எழுதி வருகிறார்.About the Facilitator: Sithuraj Ponraj writes fiction in both English and Tamil. His first collection of short stories in Tamil Maariligal (The Unchangeables) won the 2016 Singapore Literature Prize for Tamil Fiction as well as the 2017 Karikar Chozhan Award for Tamil Fiction. His first collection of Tamil poetry Kaatrai Kadanthai won the 2016 Singapore Literature Merit Prize. He has published 2 other novels in Tamil. His first collections of poetry in Spanish and English are due out in April 2017.
