Calling all beginner wannabe web developers! With the magic of HTML and CSS, your kids can create their own marketplace within a day! Your kids may be the next successful entrepreneurs like Alibaba’s Jack Ma. The kids will learn how to showcase their desired products, services and/or valuable information using their own websites.

• Get to understand the process of planning and developing a complete and functional website
• Explore and experience the basics of HTML and CSS
• Learn to structure and style their webpages.
• Learn the essentials of linking webpages within a website
• Learn to upload content
• Gets creative in designing your website
• Develop effective communication skills as your kids need to understand the users’ needs to input the necessary information

• We will show a list of websites as an inspiration to the kids
• We will take time to explain what are the unique features of these websites
• We will also share what are the pointe to take note of when developing websites
• We introduce the HTML syntax by providing an example.
• Using this example, we will guide the kids to understand the HTML coding
• We will guide the kids to start coding in HTML
• Then we will introduce CSS to the kids using an example again
• Finally they will work on their HTML & CSS project : Developing an website
