It was a warm and fuzzy afternoon. As I was crossing the road, I heard sounds of music in one of the many worn-out shophouses along Geylang Road. Aha! A Music Recording studio - ANADIGI Sound Lab. What a discovery! Who would know that there is such a place in Geylang, of all places. I soon find out that there were many interesting musical projects that were conducted and are upcoming. One of the projects that is happening quite soon is called "White-Board Music". Allow me to elaborate on it...whiteboardˈwʌɪtbɔːd/"nounan area common to several users or applications, where they can exchange information, in particular as handwriting or graphics. "White-Board Music" was initiated by the folks from Anadigi Sound Lab. They believe that with every piece of music performed, the audience may paint a different picture about the songs. With "White-Board Music", they hope that the audience will share their perspectives and develop a cohesive platform for artists to gain feedback on their craft - bridging the artist and audience meaningfully through songs and expression.Our first session of "White-Board Music" artists are Shak'thiya and Codie Loh. They will be performing a few of their originals and engage through a dialogue session with the audience.Ticket is priced at $7 (inc.a free soft drink or bottled water)
