Understanding Guan Yin culture is often the key to understand local religious customs and even monuments like Ankor Wat, Borobudur, Buddhist monasteries and Taoist temples.Historically, Guan Yin’s form reflects contemporary body ascetics and fashions tastes. If this observation holds, then Guan Yin should be wearing Chanel but she is not. Why is that so?
