This course will guide you through the process of illustrating clothing designs in a clear, visually appealing form. You will illustrate a mini-collection of 5 outfits to complete the course.This course is for beginners with an interest in pursuing fashion design, or fashion designers who wish to improve their hand illustration skills.Basic drawing materials will be provided at the start. Depending on your direction, you will need to purchase additional materials (paper, pencils, copic markers etc.) to illustrate. You may speak to the instructor about this on the first class session. What You’ll Learn:Compiling inspiration and creating a mood boardDoing croquis sketchesCreating a fashion figure/croquis/poseCreating a fashion head/faceDrawing clothes on the figureRendering with copic markersRendering with watercolour (optional); if time permitsYou will receive personalised instruction within class time, according to your areas of interest or need. Weekly homework will be assigned and regular feedback given. If you require additional help beyond class time, please contact the instructor to discuss. There is an option to extend the course for more in-depth learning, or to receive coaching from the instructor regarding fashion design education/ careers in the US.Classes start on time, please arrive 5 mins early if possible.Individual & group workshops are available to book on request, please enquire.
