Bo Ningen are from Tokyo,Gunmma, Tajimi, Nishinomiya, but all met in London and started back in 2006 when Taigen (vocals & bass) met Kohhei (guitar) at a gig and they formed the first incarnation of the band as a duo. It was more noise than a straightforward rock or ‘band’ sound and they performed only once – an improvised set at which they ended up having cups and cans thrown at them. In 2007, Yuki (guitar) met Taigen they started to jam 10 hours a day in a studio in Hackney without any musical structure. They were later joined by Monchan on drums and the present day Bo Ningen was formed. To the band, being ‘psychedelic’ means standing at the intersection where 'quiet' meets 'loud' and staring at both sides at once.--Get ready to get down and dirty with the newly renovated The Bee at Publika, as it opens its doors to a whole new focus on international, regional and local live music and alternative DJ nights.
