GK transforms slums into communities through a range of programs focusing on shelter, health, education, and livelihood programs. Over 2000 communities in the Philippines have benefited from GK's initiatives, and GK has expanded its services to other developing nations like Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, and Cambodia. Given the devastation caused by the recent typhoon, GK has mobilized forces to help the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.GK's disaster relief operations in the Philippines are activated through "Operation Walang Iwanan" ("no one is left behind").
