1784年、28歳の時に、モーツァルトはウィーンのフリーメイスンに入会し、ロッジのためにフリーメイスンの象徴や教えを取り入れた作品を数多く作曲した。 7年後わずか35歳で帰らぬ人となり、教会の無名墓地に葬られた。それでもモーツァルトの音楽は、音楽史上のどの作曲家よりも、その死後も生き続け、数百年を経た今でも、国境を越えた世界中の音楽家により演奏されている。Mozart was a fervent believer in the brotherhood of man under the fatherhood of God. In 1784, at age 28, he was inducted into the Masonic Lodge in Vienna. In this happy capacity he created a number of works imbued with allusions to the humanitarian symbols and precepts of Freemasonry. Seven years later, still only 35, he was buried in a nameless grave. Feigin won the Grand Prize of the Prague International Violin Competition at the age of 24 and developed a distinguished career as a concert artist.
