outdoor walk as they examine, question and respond to spaces in
Singapore that mirror the themes of the Singapore Biennale 2016. The
artists’ friendly guests come from diverse backgrounds including
academia and architecture. Sauntering around sites like the former
National Library and former St. Joseph’s Institution, they will share
personal stories and nuggets of interesting facts. Participants are also

Taking place from 27 October 2016 to 26 February 2017, Singapore
Biennale 2016 will feature site-specific and never seen before
contemporary artworks by 60 artists across Southeast, and East and South
Asia. Exploring shared histories and current realities within and
beyond the region, the exhibition, titled An Atlas of Mirrors, will be a constellation of artistic perspectives that provide unexpected ways of seeing the world and ourselves.
Singapore Biennale 2016 is organised by Singapore Art Museum and commissioned by the National Arts Council, Singapore.
