About OK GO:

According to Nike's Designed to Move report, today's generation may be the first generation to have a short life expectancy than their parents. Our program is designed to get kids moving and unleash their potential in life.

We believe in giving kids early, positive experiences with sport and physical activity due to the following reasons:

  • A for Effort: Improve their grades and stay in school
  • Smells like Team Spirit: They're more likely to work as a team and set personal goals
  • Be Physically healthy: Inside and Out.
  • Make Smart Choices
  • Learn Conflict resolution skills
  • Cross cultural exchange

What kids will experience in this session:

  • Meaningful connection with coaches + peers
  • Opportunities for kids to make a real contribution
  • Being recognised for things they do well through intentional celebration
  • Engaged by choice
  • Building confidence where they go from "I can't" to "I can"
  • Learning empathy and compassion by keeping all our activities inclusive

What to bring:

  • Wear Sports Attire (especially sport shoes)
  • Water Bottle
  • Towel
  • Hat + Sunblock
  • A great attitude! :)

OK GO Program Coaches

Our OK GO Coaches work in partnership with Nike South East Asia and are trained by Coaches Across Continents.

Emily Teng
Emily is well known in Singapore as 'Chief of Awesome', spreading love, joy and awesomeness wherever she goes through her work with youth. Raised in Jakarta (Indonesia), Melbourne (Australia) and Singapore, she is able to seamlessly find common ground within and around individuals from various backgrounds. She has over 10 years working experience from helming the mic as a Radio DJ with 987FM and Power98FM, running Blessings in a Bag to being a Nike Women Ambassador for Singapore and, of course, for her heart and vision for impacting youth across the ASEAN region. Since 2011, she has been making waves in the fitness community, hosting races and events for Nike Singapore and working her way to becoming a Nike Training Club (NTC)Trainer. This has given her the opportunity to train under the amazing woman who started it all at Nike HQ, Marie Purvis.

Michelle Watts
Michelle is a registered nurse from Australia who specializes in cardiothoracis and intensive care/trauma. She plays a huge role as one of the Beyond Awesome Captains (this amazing woman serves with the program almost every week!) as well as leading OK GO in 2017. Michelle is committed to empowering kids with the knowledge to make healthy choices and teach the importance of keeping active.

Daryl Chia
Daryl is a sports performance coach at SPEED Sports & Conditioning. He graduated from the University of Queensland with a BSc in Exercise and Sports Science with Honors. He has worked with many youths as well as adults during his time in Australia, specialising in improving an individual's speed and agility. Daryl has a passion in helping individuals develop and enhance their athletic abilities while improving their physical health and fitness. He has represented Singapore rugby is all age groups and is currently back in the national team.
