And what they WANT is usually triggered from an emotional stand point. A WANT can also build a long term following as your target audience can connect with you beyond a customer-business relationship. And what better way to trigger a want than a simple story that will touch the hearts of your potential customers? Why story? Simply, a story is a simple bonding and relational tool you can apply with your customers without the need to hard sell. In this meetup, I will share with you:- Different types of stories for different types of brand - How to create value for your customers out of your story - How to create a simple story for your brand/productThis meetup is suitable for:- New business owners who wish to reach their products out to their target audience but do not know how to - Freelancers who need a helping hand to market themselves - Job seekers who need a helping hand to write their biography for their resume*This is a FREE event. However, the owner Pav, has kindly helped to sponsor his projector and space for us so please support his business by being a patron. House pour beers are at $10. It was a devastating impact on me, both financially and emotionally. During that process, I also lost a lot of friends.I thought that this would be the end of my dreams of telling a story, until I started pursuing my theatre training with the prestigious Singapore Repertory Theatre, and was also awarded "Gold" in my Trinity Guildhall Speech and Drama exam. While pursuing acting on stage and screen, I also went onto conduct speech and drama workshops in various institutions, such as Hwa Chong International and CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls School. I also created lesson plans and conducted public speaking workshops in prestigious institutions such as Raffles Junior College and Victoria School. Additionally, I've also trained several school teachers in the areas of speech and drama as well. In 2015, I went onto write and self publish my own novel, The Enlightened Bartender and on Amazon.com. Since then, I have never stop experimenting with different ways of storytelling, be it, creating my own YouTube videos, participating in stand-up comedy, story slams and poetry slams. Storytelling is part of my life. I'm telling you all these not to sound conceited, but to make you feel at ease, knowing that you are in the hands of someone who is knowledgeable about storytelling and presenting via the video medium, which is what this group is all about.I believe that business and art can have an intersection, because it is always the art that reaches people's heart. People are sold on emotions and not logic. So let me guide you to reach out to the emotions and convert these emotions into some tangible cash!
