About the speaker
Kennie Ting is Director, Asian Civilisations Museum, and Group Director, Museums, for the National Heritage Board. He is fascinated by the architectural heritage of colonial cities in Asia, and is the author of two books, The Romance of the Grand Tour – 100 Years of Travel in South East Asia, and a volume on Heritage in the Singapore Chronicles series commissioned by the Institute of Policy Studies.
