We can see the local culture, especially historical spot、Shrine and festivals, temples where the famous Ukiyoe painter loved, Sumo wrestler house, unique local food shops, etc.Jan 15th is the day of the monthly-fair in Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine, we can explore fair stalls and see old Sumo wrestlers statues. After exploring Monzen-Nakacho, we are going to have Chanko hotpot in Chaabee. Chanko is a hotpot eaten mainly by professional sumo wrestlers. It contains avariety of foods such as meat,fish and vegetables.You feel to get in touch with neighborhood in these area.
