Lexie Reimer
Lexie relocated to Singapore in 2016 from Sydney where she worked full time as a primary school educator. Her main experience is with children from 4-7years or age but she has taught every grade from prep to year six during her 25 years of working as a teacher. Her skills, knowledge and heart for literacy will have your child developing a love to read - even in the most reluctant little readers!

Hui Ling Lim
She is known best for her gift of creativity and all things crafty. Known more affectionately as our resident 'Craft Queen', she thoughtfully designs activities related to stories we read during our workshops that will encourage students to get excited about the theme and story content. Personally, she has an entrepreneurial spirit where she has founded Kinderhands, a book and craft subscription service for kids and co-founded PetitFab, a design-focused company that believes good design can improve quality of life.

Emily Teng
Emily is well known in Singapore as 'Chief of Awesome', spreading love, joy and awesomeness wherever she goes through her work with youth. Raised in Jakarta (Indonesia), Melbourne (Australia) and Singapore, she is able to seamlessly find common ground within and around individuals from various backgrounds. She has over 10 years working experience from helming the mic as a Radio DJ with 987FM and Power98FM, running Blessings in a Bag to being a Nike Women Ambassador for Singapore and, of course, for her heart and vision for impacting youth across the ASEAN region.

This intimate workshop is open for kids aged 6 and up who would love to spend an afternoon surrounded by story-book lovers and get their hands busy doing a craft activity related to the book theme. Kids will be able to let their imaginations run amok and have the creative freedom to express themselves through interactive story-telling and the hands-on activity.

Each child will be provided with all the necessary resources and support required.

We will be focusing on: The Paper Dolls by Julia Donaldson where "a string of paper dolls go on a fantastical adventure through the house and out into the garden. They soon escape the clutches of the toy dinosaur and the snapping jaws of the oven-glove crocodile, but then a very real pair of scissors threatens. A stunning, rhythmical story of childhood, memory and the power of imagination from the author of THE GRUFFALO, and new illustrating talent Rebecca Cobb."
