The Kevin Michael Project is set to kick start its new tour, "Across the Sea”, to promote their new single, "Sound of the Sea" and the accompanying music video. The band will pass through a few of the most vibrant music destinations in the region: 5th January 2017 - Kuala Lumpur, Gaslight, 8pm7th January 2017 - Penang, Black Kettle, 8.30pm 10th January 2017 - Singapore, Blujaz Cafe, 8pm Led by Kevin Michael, The Kevin Michael Project is a collaboration between him and a troop of musicians from both Singapore and Malaysia. Inspired by musicals and its theatrics, the band carries a Vaudeville Swing sound; a breath of fresh air in the region’s music scene.Supporting Kevin in the new Single release show are some of his talented friends:1) Shak'thiya Subramaniamm. Shak, a Soulful singer-songwriter, inspired by Blues, Folk and Bossa Nova, explains his journey with melancholic lyrics and upbeat rhythms. Started off as an open mic singer, Shak has performed in various venues, such as Singapore Night Festival 2016 and HardRock Cafe.2) Jacky Ng (Comedian). Being the youngest working comedian in Singapore, Jacky's stories on his hopes and dreams as well as his observations of daily life has made him a popular figure in the local stand up scene. Jacky has performed in short form comedy improv with The Latecomers, who were the winners of the first ever Singapore Improv Championships at the Singapore Improv Festival 2016.It will be a night filled with laughter and great music, come join us and bring your friends along!
