About Kristie SimBased in Singapore, Kris is a young, emerging artist who mainly works with traditional mediums such as ink and rice paper to create abstract visuals. She was trained in western mediums before she was introduced to ink painting. Thus her fascination with western abstraction can be seen in her works, where hints of figures and structures influences her visual critique towards tradition and representation.
