1MILE x 100MILE by WIRED HOTEL is our casual Tokyo-focused talk / food / drink event series. WIRED HOTEL is a “Local Community Hotel” that will open in Asakusa in Spring 2017. We have assembled group of Ambassadors – long-term expats & other local Tokyoites - to talk about and share their favorite neighborhood spots (1MILE) and their favorite weekend getaway spots (100MILE) just outside of the city. The theme is around good food and good drink, and the speakers bring along something to eat/drink from their spots.Once the hotel opens, our Ambassadors and the information they’ve shared will form the basis of local community we hope to create.
