She started Miniature Asian Chef in 2013 as a small business to sell her creations to miniature food collectors. She graduated with a degree in marketing, and currently works in the advertising industry. She learnt the craft through observation and online tutorials, and honed her skills through self-experiments and feedback from family, friends and customers. When she is not working, she is constantly dreaming of new methods to make the next project. Most of her creations are inspired by her daily life in Singapore. She works with various materials and tools ranging from polymer clay, air dry clay, paints and even a toilet brush! She also creates wearable food accessories such as earrings, necklaces and cufflinks.
