She smiled and shared, ”My father had a habit of looping his songs over and over as we were on the road. And I would be singing the lyrics and melodies from memory”. From then, music has been part of her priority commitment in  life. At the age of 15, with a bag brimming of heartfelt original songs, Jin An was nudged into the spotlight when her piano teacher included her performances into various concert repertoires. Ever since, performing has been second nature to her and within the heart of  the stage, she basks. In 2012, she hit the grand prize at NTU Music Express where she was also talent-spotted and signed on as a songwriter by Funkie Monkies Productions Pte Ltd. This 2016, she released her first debut album ‘Light’ and has been well received among audience, radio stations, live houses, friends and family in Singapore. She had  also proudly performed in several events like Chinese New Year Gala Concert, Music Night at World Cafe, Spring Scream 2014, Pre-show for Chun Lang Festival 2014 and Xin Chuang Showcase 2015 at Switch Timbre, Huayi Festival 2015, Alive Singapore 2016, ‘New Discoveries in Singapore 2016’ Music Showcase at Cheng Du IFS.GDJYB 雞蛋蒸肉餅A Hong Kong-based indie math-folk girl band. Formed in August 2012, the group consists of guitarist Soni Cheng, drummer Heihei Ng, vocalist Soft Liu and bassist Yellow Yi Wong. The name GDJYB is from a local Chinese dish (Gai Dan Jane Yuk Bang, steamed meat loaf with egg). By fusing math-rock and folk music genres in Honglish (Hong Kong English), GDJYB is bringing something distinctive and fresh to the indie music scene through the changing tempos and patterns. The band have been to various music festivals and live houses, like Fringe Club, Hidden Agenda and Clockenflap. In 2014, GDJYB is selected as one of the '23 New Rising Stars in Hong Kong's new music' by Time Out HK Magazine, and released their debut EP in Sep. In July 2015, GDJYB participated in Taiwan Wake Up Music Festival, and organised their first mini concert in Taipei.Silhungmo 小紅帽 Silhungmo stepped on their music path when Ashley, the vocal pumped into Him, Moore and KaChai in the summer of 2012. silhungmo means Little Red Riding Hood in the pronunciation in Chinese, like the fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood, silhungmo’s music is passionate, straightforward and full of emotions. These four hotblooded youth keep their faith from the very first day of silhungmo, won a number of awards in many music competitions among all these years. Apart from being awarded, silhungmo believe that the process of creating music is far more important, therefore after two years of coordination, the first album was released in May 2015, after the album is released, silhungmo’s music was surprisingly being played in radio programs from various countries, their albums were shipped to different cities around the world. In November 2015, silhungmo was invited to be filmed for a MV of their song ‘Lost Soul Fish’ by two Brazilian filmmakers. silhungmo believe that when music goes global, language is no longer a wall between different races. Aimed at spreading the positivity to people around the world, silhungmo use their music to comfort the sorrow, despondence, disappointment and worries.
