COURSE OUTLINEThis course will be split into 2 sessions: Programming fundamentals and introduction to Python.In programming fundamentals, you will learn how a computer program works, how to design a program using flowcharts and pseudocode, and programming concepts such as object-oriented programming (OOP).For the introduction to Python, we will talk about how to program basic program with Python such as reserved keywords in Python, basic syntax, control flows, classes and etc. PREREQUISITESBring your own laptop.WHO SHOULD JOINThis workshop is suitable for everyone that are passionate in programming which has ZERO computing knowledge.ABOUT THE TRAINERTeoh Tuan Tian is a full-stack developer, he covers from front-end all the way to the back-end of programming. He builds mobile, website and desktop apps, as well as websites with Content Management System (CMS) such as Wordpress. He is very strong in building web applications with Ruby on Rails and hybrid mobile apps with Ionic 2 and Angular 2. He can also code with C#, Python, and Node.js as well. Teoh had done projects with a local non-government organization (NGO), private companies and built a prototype for startup companies. During his free time, he loves to discover hardware and Internet of Things (IoT), build applications with Raspberry Pi. Last but not least, he had experience in running programming workshops in several colleges for the first year Degree students and for public as well. This also brought him to be part of the organizing team in a few well-known tech events with the community in Penang.
