With recent cyberattacks on large scale businesses hitting the news, it is more important than ever to understand your own vulnerability, the cost of ignoring cybersecurity, the dangers of stolen IP, and how to navigate creating a secure business without losing flexibility and accessibility. Lawrence Wong from PwC will be moderating this event.Speakers:Jamie Rubbi-Clarke is Associate Director of Cyber Risk Consulting APAC at Control-Risks, a global risk management firm specializing in political, security, and integrity risks. Previously, Jamie worked for the UK Foreign Office on intelligence strategy, and has consulted for some of the world’s most secure organizations, as well as working at a cybersecurity startup in the UK.Eric Meyer currently heads Apvera, a threat intelligence platform that enables organizations to identify anomalies in user context aware behaviour. He is currently server of the board of the Open Information Security Foundation. His passion for emerging technologies and innovation has given him over 20 years of global experience in operational strategy, scaling technology businesses, company-wide transformation, serial entrepreneurship, and raising capital. He previously held senior leadership positions at Microsoft, EMC, and Infosys, as well as founded Nubefy and Optynex Telecom.Christopher Aw is a former US Air Force officer focused on tactical communication, E&I, senior-staff roles, R&D, HUMINT, SIGINT, and all-source intelligence. In addition to the military, Chris served as a consultant, providing technology recommendations ranging from RF communications and computer networks to electro optical, infrared, hyper spectral imagery, LIDAR, and other sensor modalities. Chris has also helped author numerous US government policies regarding technology in support of military and intelligence operations. Chris is a partner at Kinkayo, a cyber threat intelligence firm focused on the Dark Web and also serves as a director at Aves Netsec, a virtualized honeypot technology provider. Additionally, Chris consults for other cyber security firms entering new markets with a focus on cyber threat intelligence.Moderator:Lawrence Wong is Deputy Head of Government and Public Services at PwC Singapore. He recently completed a study for the Singapore government on Singapore's cybersecurity economic landscape and proposed strategies to boost the ecosystem. Prior to PwC, he served almost 10 years in the civil service. He was formerly a foresight strategist with the Ministry of Trade and Industry where he covered domains such as technology, industry disruption, geo-economic developments and energy. In his free time, he pursues a single handicap and explores new destinations. He visited Iran in May this year and will be travelling to Lebanon next month.
