Join us for a screening of May Tchao’s documentary Spilled Water (2014). After having spent many years in the United States, Tchao returns to China to explore transformations in gender relations in her home country. Following the paths of four very different women, the documentary shows us the transformational role of women in a traditionally male-dominated society. While many of us have heard of China’s economic expansion in the past decades, where do women fit into these changes?
