Training the Eye: Understanding the Value of Customer Insights

In your business, do you offer a product or service you 'feel' your customers want? Or is your offer based on carefully observed insights into your customers' lives?

As part of idea generation process, problem definition is key to start building products that people really want (and not just simply need).

In this seminar at Workers University Tokyo, we will focus on exploring and defining insights: to observe and extract valuable data by experiencing the way people live their lives; being able to inspire a team and move forward having a common actionable plan.

Be ready for some:

a. Eye Candies: Awareness through observation

b. Walk the talk: Practicing empathy through conversations

c. Looking for Patterns: Connecting dots through data

d. Building Blocks: Crafting meaningful insights

Expect a didactic and interactive 90 minutes.

This seminar is for you if:

  • You have a product or service that you want to develop.

  • You're curious about how successful companies build winning products.

  • You understand the value of customer insights, but you aren't sure about the methods required to collect them.
