Gateway Classical Music Society was founded in 2004 to promote classical music and artists through performances of masterworks with the Gateway Orchestra, a 70-piece professional orchestra and member of League of American Orchestras. The performances have received standing ovations and rave reviews in area newspapers in NY and CT. The benefit event, Legendary Performers Up Close and Personal,  will take place at an old world club in Midtown New York City and will feature an intimate concert by renowned clarinetist Stanley Drucker, who has won numerous awards, been nominated for two Grammies and is in the Guinness Book of World Records!   The event includes a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres, the concert and dessert.  Enjoy hearing a world renowned artist and meeting other guests in the elegant surroundings of one of Manhattan’s oldest private clubs.  The event will benefit the Gateway Orchestra’s performances of masterworks.  All donations are tax deductible. Confirmation must be made no later than October 8, 2013. To redeem your reservation, your name will be listed with the security desk at the venue on the night of the event.  Please bring your receipt as well.
