Hands down one of the most respected and referenced wine regions of the entire world, Bordeaux is situated in a unique geographical location where two rivers, the Dordogne and the Garonne, meet to form the Gironde Estuary which empties into the Atlantic ocean. These waterways broadly divide Bordeaux into three areas - the left bank, the right bank, and 'entre-deux-mers' - each with its own distinctive signature wine styles.To give you a broad picture of Bordeaux wines, we will sample one signature-style red wine from each of the above sub-regions.
