The notion of re-examining history by truth and myth through visual storytelling serves as the inter-connecting thread between the three short films, and the films offer glimpses of Little India through the 19th and 20th centuries.Join us for an "Artist in the House" session with filmmaker K Rajagopal as he talks about the making of Campbell Lane.About the ArtistK Rajagopal is an acclaimed Singaporean Indian film maker known for his sensitive and evocative films, often dealing with the trajectory of Singapore’s Indian community. He has has worked on stage and in film for over fifteen years. As a filmmaker, Rajagopal has won the Singapore International Film Festival’s Special Jury Prize for 3 consecutive years with I Can’t Sleep Tonight(1995), The Glare (1996) and Absence (1997). His other films areBrother, commissioned by the Singapore Art Festival, The New World, commissioned by the National Museum of Singapore, and Timeless. He co-wrote and directed the social drama film A Yellow Bird, which was selected to be screened in the International Critics' Week section at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.
