Non-engineering students require the eye for UX design and basic design skills to convey their ideas, while engineering students require front-end skills to deliver the product. While this workshop cannot turn students into professional UX designers over 2 hours, it can provide them the basic concepts of product design, user research and wire-framing, and inform them of the resources available to learn on their own and develop their prototypes. We will be kicking off the bootcamp with a sharing by Ji Ho and Long from Plain Exchange, a peer-to-peer currency startup (AngelHack Hong Kong Champion, Hackcelerator Champian and Cyberport Awardee), on how to gain momentum with incremental "pretotypes".The second part of the session is where attendees can get their hands dirty - We will go through the prototyping process and introduce resources for inspiration as well as prototyping. By the end of the session, you will be able to make a simple wireframe of Facebook and prototype with animations and mirroring.Speakers: Michelle Chan (HKU), Park Ji-Ho (HKUST), Long Hoang (HKUST)(This event is organized by Techstars Startup ProgramsSpotted an error in this listing?
