Following the release of their debut EP, Victoria Street was chosen to be part of the National Arts Council’s NOISE Music Mentorship programme in 2015 where they honed their highly attuned sense of music with veteran drummer of Shirlyn and the UnXpected, Brandon Khoo.Not long after, Victoria Street was accepted into the 2016 Baybeats mentorship programme, where they were mentored by industry experts like Snakeweed Studios producer Leonard Soosay, as well as Errol Tan, who manages homegrown indie label, KittyWu Records.Both mentorships culminated with an exciting and emotive set at the Esplanade Outdoor theatre, filled to the brim with friends and fans alike.
