This moving journey offers a profound experience to develop a deeper connection to our sense of self. In trusting our bodies, we discover that we are all dancers. Through moving, feeling and sensing our bodies with awareness, we cultivate inner stillness, clarity and creative sensibility. Each class we explore different themes in an easy, fun, creative, therapeutic and deepening way- with solo, partnering and whole group explorations. After moving, there is time for reflection and integration through journaling or drawing.Authentic MovementAuthentic Movement is a contemplative and transformative practice that offers the opportunity to develop a deep, self -sensing awareness between moving and witnessing. Moving with eyes closed, tune into body sensation, listen inwardly to the flow of feelings, images, feelings, sounds, memories, and movement impulses which emerge into awareness. In this practice, explore your inner mover and witness to delve deeper into your inner world and to dare fuller outer expression.Bartenieff Fundamentals / Brain DanceBrain Dance comprised of eight developmental movement patterns that healthy human beings naturally move through in the first year of life.
