Use specially pre-carved Peranakan inspired linocut blocks to create your artwork in a workshop designed for the busy beginner! Enjoy printing in your favourite heritage colours and make a fully washable textile length measuring approximately 55 x 55 cm.Perfect for beginners, this workshop covers practical and low-cost techniques of printing at home with readily available materials. Linocut block printing is often considered an easier alternative to screen printing or silkscreen printing for those just starting out in printmaking.All participants will take home a student pack containing instructions and supplier information. No art experience is necessary and all materials are included. Please bring along an apron or other protection, as inks used can permanently stain clothing. Participants must be over 15 years old.
