The 4th industrial revolution is an era of cyber-physical systems powered by breakthroughs in nanotechnology providing performance boost and new functionality to Internet of Things, biotechnology, 3-D printing, materials science, energy storage, robotics, artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, and quantum computing. The onset of nanotechnology has enabled billions of people and businesses all around the globe to connect via mobile devices that are aided by unprecedented processing power and storage capacity. This leads to unlimited access to information and knowledge thus changing the way products are being designed, manufactured, and sold to consumers.Speaker:Dr. Rezal Khairi Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer, NanoMalaysiaDr. Rezal Khairi Ahmad holds a PhD in Nanotechnology, Electronic/Electrical Engineering from the London Centre for Nanotechnology, University College London. He is the first Khazanah PhD Scholar from 2007 to 2010 and has published a number of publications in high impact journals. Whilst pursuing his PhD, he also covered an MBA elective at the London Business School and business courses at UCL. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Tenaga Nasional University and graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering from UCL, United Kingdom as a Yayasan Tenaga Nasional Scholar.He was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of NanoMalaysia Berhad in June 2012 and crafted the company structure, developed its business model and corporate positioning strategy relative to like-minded government agencies and relevant industries. In February 2013, his appointment was upgraded to Chief Executive Officer. He is also a Board Member of NanoMalaysia and Nano Commerce Sdn. Bhd., Chairman of NanoVerify Sdn. Bhd., Director of Nanovation Ventures Sdn. Bhd. And NanoSil Tech Sdn. Bhd.Leading a balance life, he plays basketball and undergoes strength training regularly. He is also a fan of the arts of self-defence particularly Wing Chun Kung Fu and Kendo. When inspired, he plays the bass guitar in his spare time.  For youths and adults, 16 years old and above ONLY.
