Christmas is coming and another fund (and fun!) raiser event for Fukushima Kids Hawaii. About Fukushima Kids Hawaii: Hawaii Web TV did a short program on Fukushima Kids Hawaii here.We invited children from Fukushima to Kona, Hawaii for children's learning and healing offering a respite from radiation.Since its 1st operation in 2016, FKH run two projects:1　Fukushima Kids Hawaii House; where we host babies with mothers for up to 3 months2　Fukushima Kids Hawaii Project; Fukushima children are invited to Kona for a summer/witner school learning permaculture, farm-to-table practice, natural medicine, NVC, Connection PracticeFKH has hosted almost 100 kids and adults from FukushimaChristmas Concert December 18th:Features the top violinist of this Island, Ursula Vietze accompanied by Annu Shionoya, who have been sharing the talent for Fukushima Kids for years. Yumi plays flute and Gen sings some songs before the Violin Concert Some Food prepared by Yumi and Kangen Water servedGlass Wine ($5) Silent auction of arts by Maymi Oda, Hiroki Morinoue and Andrea Pro, some hand crafts made by Fukushima mothers as well for sale.Showing of pictures of 2016 Summer Program how the children spent their time here on the IslandAdditional details:iFKH was founded by Yumi and Gen Morita, supported by Mayumi Oda, with a counter part in Fukushima, Marian Morinoguchi, Heart for Fukushima KidsFKH funds a part of children's airfare, full airfare of the chaperon, accommodation and food (organic and local made from scratch), all the cost of activities and learning programsFundraising: FKH annual budget is $30,000 and our target is to raise $3000 from this concert. Every $ helps to pay for their airfares subsidiary, room and board, transportations (car and gas), activities and learning.
